The story of Barfoots starts in 1976 with Peter Barfoot, a fifth-generation farmer who started growing a single crop in the unique micro-climate of Hampshire, England.
Since then we’ve grown a little. We are now a thriving global farming community. We grow, process and pack a range of produce at farms and facilities around the world supplying delicious veggies all year round. Transported by road, rail and sea to minimise carbon.
Our philosophy has not changed since our first farm…look after the land like you are going to farm forever.
Being sustainable is at the heart of all we do and we continuously strive to improve our impact on the world. Our founder Peter Barfot has even been awarded a CBE for services to sustainable farming.
